Call2All DTS - April 2010

Loren Cunningham and Mike Bickle sounded the trumpet call for finishing the great commission to the thousands of youth at Onething '09 in Kansas City. Will you respond by joining the Call2All DTS that begins in April 2010?

God is causing a deep partnership of the missions movement with the prayer movement in this hour. Over the past several years, many of the leaders in the prayer movement and the missions movement have joined together in an intentional way to work towards fulfilling the Great Commission. As a result, the prayer movement is partnering with YWAM-Kona to create a school specifically designed to immerse students in practical and Biblical foundations of a life style of intimacy with Jesus while preparing the students to reach this and future generations for Christ. A new generation of pioneers are being called to go where none have gone before, to establish the Kingdom of Christ in new places through new methods (sports, arts, technology).

Of all the "good-ideas" in the world, how many of them are birthed in the secret place of prayer? Even response to tragedy, though fueled by good intentions, can sacrifice Great at the altar of good if not continually bathed in intercession with Heaven. Even when I'm doing things birthed out of prayer - am I still praying my way through it!? ...I am speaking to myself.

Busy-ness is what you're left with when the Spirit stops leading.

We woke up early... another somewhat sleepless night. On certain days I feel the Spirit nudge me in the morning, and say "you need nourishment today". Oh man, I have to get in the Word this morning...there's something different in the air today. The pastor of the church, on who's roof we were camped, asked us to go to the service today from 7:30-12. In all honesty, we wanted to bless him by attending, but as much as we would love to sit through a 5 our service in Creole on Justin and Jennifer's last day in Haiti, we weren't about to do that.

Thank goodness we have Sean. Sean's the type of guy who could talk you into jumping into the ocean with a kayak full of camping supplies at midnight and paddling to an unoccupied boat dock 200 yards from shore, then at sunrise, upon seeing a whale half a mile out, convincing you to chase it til you're literally within feet of it (true story).
