The strength of the SECE is that it is a complete package. When you finish the course, you will be equipped to teach and run a preschool class anywhere in the world.
Course Content
EDU 231 (Foundations in Education) lays a foundation in education by teaching principles of education from a biblical perspective. EDU 232 gives an in-depth study of the sensorial approach to education, biblical curriculum and classroom management. During EDU 233-235 the students apply the principles they've learned in an internship. EDU 236 is a field assignment in a cross cultural setting.Cross Cultural Training

Information regarding student fees will be sent to all applicants. The starting date for the next 18-month School of Early Childhood Education track is April 8, 2010.Prerequisites
Completion of the Discipleship Training School and Field Assignment (IDS 701/702) or Crossroads Discipleship Training School (IDS 703/704).Credits
Seventy-two (72) credits will be earned upon successful completion of the eighteen month Early Childhood Education program (EDU 231-236). These credits fulfill the requirement of a U of N AS degree and may be applied to a BS degree program.Education
